Funny... and kind of scary. I don't think that will happen, though.

I think (hope) that the Muslims will realize that Iraq is now a free and democratic socitey, and therefore will appreciate what we did. Now, this probably won't happen. There may very well be huge riots in many nations. I think that, with the assistance of the US, these will die down after they see how strong and sucsessful Iraq is becoming because of the US intervention.

it won't happen because, just like in the last war, Israel won't overreact to a scud missle, especially once its clear that Iraq is going to be defeated, and secondly, the majority of Arab states back the US, (Kuwait, Suadi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan)

the kuwaiti people back us, as do the turks and those in jordan and qatar. the others could go either way, but most importantly the Iraqi people support us.

Oh so that wasn't kuwaiti citizens that shot two of our soliders last month, my bad.

And the polls i saw of the turkish people last week showed that at least 80% were against the war.

actually if you watch any news reports from Iraq they've said that citizens will tell the reporters off camera they support the US and they don't like saddam, as well as a number of town meeting that have aired in the past month where iraqi-americans say that the people are so scared to speak out because they will be killed that they cannot publicly state that they will welcome the americans.

suddenly 2 kuwaiti's speak for the whole country? we saved them from saddam 12 years ago and they haven't forgotten, they have always feared that saddam would invade them again and they will be very happy when he's gone.

also, i would like to see those polls about the turkish people...

i couldn't find the poll, but i did read an article that mentioned the lack of public support for the war, but not against the US, so i'll admit i was wrong about that one
