What Did You Want To Be When You Grew Up?

An earlier thread reminded me of this.

When I was a lot younger, I wanted to be a professional soccer player. When i realized that 5'8" doesn't work well in the MLS, I moved on to wanting to fly helicopters. I also wanted to be a Park Ranger, and at one point I wanted to fly search and rescure for the NPS. After a shitty biology teacher, I moved on to doing stuff with film, and now I want to teach Film/English in high schools.

now i know i want to do something with kids/teaching/psych/animals...hahah some kind of combo where i can work all that together...i have yet to figure out what though...

but yeahh...i have a couple of years left at school to try and figure out what i can do with those interests...god knows i don't want to be cooped up in an office for the rest of my life at some mediocre job

I still do. But I figured it'll be more of a hobby, if anything. I want to major in English, though.


Realistically, I'm gonna try and be a forensics psychologist.

when i was little i wanted to be an artist because my dad was an amateur painter, and then realized i had no talent for it. then i thought i wanted to be a teacher, but i don't have the patience to deal with kids. in high school i found i was good with computers, and after studying computer science in college, i am now working in the IT department for a private nonprofit organization. it kind of goes with the teacher thing, since i help people figure out how to do computer stuff, but i don't have to plan classes or talk in front of groups of people, which i'm terrible at.
