To begin with...they're first album is so good!

I first heard their second album, Prepare the Masses. I fell in love. I thought that it was amazing. I didn't dislike one song on there. I then went and listened to there first album. It was ok. A little heavier than the new stuff, but still good. Then they went on and got rid of lead singer Tory Jasper and brought in some new guy. Have to say that I didn't like it. Too preppy. I hope they go back to their roots and get some good strong music coming out.

Anything after An Offer You Can't Refuse just spells "sellout" to me... I listened to the most recent album (don't even remember the name) and I was thoroughly disgusted. No wonder a bunch of college girls "love them" now and are their "favorite band"s...

Gag me in the face.

By the way, I always associate AOYCR with a band called Through Silence and their album "Renaissance." Could be worth a listen. I think they are from the UK and I had to order it imported or something in 2003 or so.

That's the first song that I heard from them. I guess you could say that I was hooked. I bought that album (Prepare the Masses) and thought it was excellent. Not a huge fan of the old stuff and I hate the new stuff after they changed the lead singer.

to me ACOP only released and EP and An Offer You Can't Refuse .. i don't want to believe that anything after that was released by ACOP.

doesn't this band exist basically to rip off other bands?

i wasn't talking about being similar i was talking about how they blatantly stole the riff of "cross out the eyes" on one of their songs.

but whatever, generic band that was so generic they didn't get popular at all.

Agreed.

An Offer You Can't Refuse and most of Prepare The Masses was legit.

Now, they sing songs about teenage high school dating and shit like that.

Like I said, fucking sell outs.

Torry Jasper > whoever the new guy is.
