Im in a 3 man band, me =bass,vocals friends=drums, guitar. There arent a whole lot of 3 person bands anymore, should we secede to society and add a 2nd guitar?!?!

if youre gonna get a 2nd guitar, make sure you write different guitar parts for him, ive heard way too many bands have 2 guitar players who play the exactl same thing

If you guys only *think* you're good at your instruments, add another guitar.

If you actually are good, keep it to three and just make the arrangements complex enough that it's interesting.

My cynicism is telling me you should probably find another guitarist.
