Dead Poetic (http://www.deadpoetic.com/) is trying something very different. Instead of releasing a new song every week 'til their album retails. They're releasing a demo track every week (starting January 1st) before they go into the studio with producer Aaron Sprinkle on January 30th.

brandon's voice is amazing. i think no screaming could be a good thing...either way, this is my most anticapted album of 2006 so far.

It's a great idea. Build hype, you think the demo's are good... then BAM you get totally caught off guard cus the same demo's you heard now sound WAY Incredible.
Great marketing idea. I'm gonna take a shot at Tooth And Nail A&R suggested it.
Either way, with their new lineup... if anything goes wrong, something is not right in this world.
