you're right.

for some reason, i've never minded horror movies blowing ass. as long as it's basically a scary idea, i feel like they accomplished their job.

i will have to wait for it to come out on video to see it.

........and its supposedly based on "true" events.....

In the Northern Territory, the film's distributors Roadshow Films agreed to postpone the release of the film so it wouldn't coincide with the trial of Bradley John Murdoch, the mechanic/truck driver charged with the murder of Peter Falconio, which finished on 13 December 2005 with the jury convicting him of the murder.

The first girl he kills got a few pretty nasty last moments.

wolf creek blew. i really want to see hostel on the sixth though.i just saw wolf creek. i didn't think it was that bad. the fact that it's based on true events creeps me out. hostel looks amazing and the fact that it's a tarantino means that it should be great in the sickest way possible...at least it's what i'm hoping for.

tarantino is only an exec producer. its an eli roth film. eli roth's only other movie is cabin fever and that was god awful. but from what i've been hearing it should be fucking awesome. plus takashi miike is an actor in the film.

Yeah, i remember Tarantino bringing Hero to the American Box Office, so he usually has an eye for films that are good.

Can I be honest in this thread and not get bitched at for what I did in order to see this movie? Alright well, hopefully, that's a yes. I wasn't sure how much I wanted to see this movie. I was interested in seeing it, but wasn't sure if I wanted to pay admission for it to see it. So luckily, there is a torrent floating around for the DVDrip of this. Since it's an Australian movie, it already came out over there and I guess it either already came out on DVD over there is about to. The one thing I can honestly say I liked about this movie was the character development. Most horror movies will throw a few characters at you, which are usually like...stoners or jocks or some couple in their early twenties having sex or whatever...and they end up dying in like ten minutes or so. This movie introduces you to the three people in this movie and actually kind of makes you care when they start getting tortured/killed. Other than that though, this movie was alright. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I didn't see Wrong Turn, but this movie reminded me a lot of High Tension.

i thought the long introduction to the characters was drawn out and tiring. i really didnt care too much for the plot development and i sat waiting for the scary shit to happen.

seriously, i hate to say that i was slightly disappointed with hostel.

don't get me wrong, i'm all for boobs and pussy [rolls eyes], but seriously, get over it and move the fuck on.

i did enjoy the twisted plot with the selling and whatnot... and the end... talk about about karma being a bitch.

but seriously, i don't know if i wanted to throw up more because of the gore or because of the lameness.

plus, seeing it with my mom, really killed it. oh well, at least i didn't have to pay for it. [lol]
