Mad for no reason?

Alright, so I have a question...

Do I have a right to be well, not mad, but bothered by stuff that happened before I even knew my girlfriend? Such as people she fooled around with. She tells me stuff and I just cringe hearing it because I don't want to hear it, it's just something that gets to me... Sometimes I feel like I have no reason to be bothered by it, considering the fact I didn't even know her or any of them...

yeah, I understand being bothered by her past, but thats really all you can be. It sucks hearing who she's been with, but it's something you have to get past. Chances are you are in the same situation, where you've fooled around with people that make her cringe.

i think my problem was the fact that my ex didn't really care what he was doing, or who he was doing it with. it wasn't even a hook up situation that bothered me, he only hooked once and it bothered me less than his whole relationship with his ex. he just doesn't really care about sex, as evidenced by the fact that he continues to be with people (have sex, fool around, whatever) even when he doesn't care about them anymore. that is what bothered me.

but yeah, watch chasing amy. it does actually help. and so does the story of why kevin smith wrote it.

yeah i think that was my major thing. the guy that i like now won't even tell me how many people he slept with in number, but from talking to him, it's at least 10. but i don't care because i have experience behind me and like i said, i don't want them to care, and i have this need to be overly honest so the next guy will hear alot of stuff.that's totally fine. it's so much better to be honest anyway. if something were to come out, hell would most likely break loose.

i think that it's because you don't like knowing that she's been with other guys. if you care about her a lot, the thought of other guys feeling like that about her could make you slightly jelous or worried that she might be taken away? my boyfriend gets upset with me because my brother always talks about my last boyfriend. but then again, he's just a jelous, clingy person.
