Days Away (http://www.daysawaymusic.com) is currently at home working on new material; below is an update from the band:
Right now the band is at home, we have been writing, recording and rehearsing. All of our new music is very inspired and we can't wait for you to have a listen. We have also been making changes in the way we run our business (ourselves), although I'm sure you all don't want to be troubled with hearing about it, and are hoping to be touring all year.

Lately, speaking for myself, world music, blues, the Beatles & friends and DUB have been rockin' on the pod. Music for the moods I'm in. Keeping the creative juices sweet.

I'll check ya later.

my favorite band...everything new i've heard is a step past what they did on the next album. i'm already excited for a cd to hit.

i thought mapping an invisible world was an amazing cd, and underrated too. they aren't the most energetic live, but their tunes are contagious.

Ooo, i have always found Days Away to be one of those bands that get better with every release they put out.

Me too. I was completely stunned to read so many Top Album lists that didn't even list it - while touting Gatsby's American Dream with all the praise in the world.

I'm not one to judge hype, but I truly believe Mapping an Invisible World is more than underrated.
