I was going to go to GR but I have to work, and I'd rather wait to see Your Best Friend next week.

It's here tomorrow, let's see a setlist, the only FD stuff I'm familiar with is Razia's Shadow.

I went to the show on May 5th, I'm not familiar with Anarbor but I know a couple songs. These are in no particular order (except for FD).

Anarbor:

Let The Games Begin
The Brightest Green
Passion For Publication
Love Instead

You, Me, and Everyone We Know:

Livin' Th' Dream
I'd Be More Interested
Do It Again!
Dirty Laundry
I Can Get Back Up Now
A Symptom
Sometimes We Have Too Much Fun
Happy Birthday

Forgive Durden:

Played Razia's Shadow in order, minus the interlude

The lead singer of YMAEWK was fucking insane, he ruled. They put on a great show, even though me and my friends were the only ones singing along.

Forgive Durden was amazing, like usual, and overall performed the album very well. Some of the parts that didn't have guitar on the album were replaced with guitars and it sounded great live.

Did anyone do guest parts for Durden? Who sang all the other parts? I hope they're filming one of these dates, just for anyone who can't make it.

I also really wish YMAEWK would play Because I Spit Hot Fire or California Heat.

Carolina Heat you mean? I love that song as well. I'm seeing this tonight but I'm pretty sure Thomas has a touring band with him that sings the other parts.

Naw, it was his touring band. The bass player (does all of the lower parts of the songs on vox) I've seen before on their earlier tours, as well as the drummer. The female vocalist I've never seen and the keyboardist was also new (he did the best Doctor impression I've ever heard, it sounded exactly like Shawn Harris).

I may or may not make the five hour drive to Oklahoma catch this. I'd absolutely love to see Razia's Shadow in its entirety live, but I have already seen 6 of the songs played live back in December, so it wouldn't kill me if I missed seeing this.

LMFAO I can't believe I said California? I didn't even realize it. But yeah, Carolina. I think they've only played it a few times, mostly at hometown shows.

Love them to death, but they either need to break out the old stuff, or make some new music...

No, we definitely got lucky. The show was running behind so their set got cut short and they just winged it and decided to play that. It was awesome.

they definitely play it outside of hometown shows. i know they played it in philly this tour like the girl above me said, but i heard it on the tour with the dear hunter & lydia last year, too.

Like I said I got to go on saturday night and had a great time! When we got there Ben from YMAEWK was just hanging around so we got to talk to him for a while which was cool. my sister asked if they would play Carolina Heat, and he said they would see how the show went. Anyways... Anarbor rocked out which was good. Definetly want to see them again soon. YMAEWK's set was same as posted but they played Carolina Heat instead of A Symptom!!!!! It was great.

First time seeing them but whoever said Ben was insane on stage was right. I wasnt even prepared but they made it an awesome night. They are extremely chill guys and props to them for bringing every night no matter how many people are there to seem them. Cant wait til they headline a couple dates next month and I see them on warped as well!

I went to the Grand Rapids, and Orland Park show. Both were good shows. Anarbor played better in Orland Park or maybe that's just because there were quite a few people there for them. So they had a good crowd.

The keyboardist isn't new. He just is cleaned up a bit. He has toured with them since he started touring on Razia's Shadow.

Driving out/back home to PHX tomorrow for this show... cannot wait. I've never given a proper listen to Razia's Shadow so the 6-7 hour drive from SoCal will definitely give me a chance to do so. Never seen YMAEWK so really excited for that. Seen Anarbor twice since moving to PHX so nothing new there, but they always put on a good show.

Did FD play any Wonderland or older stuff? Kinda hoping it'd only be that...

Excellent show tonight... good homecoming one for Anarbor. YMAEWK was straight up ridiculous... I showed Ben my parking pass for Disneyland that I got today (I was at the park from 8:30-11:30 then drove to PHX) so he thought that was pretty cool... which I think may have helped with getting them to play Carolina Heat. His stage presence/antics were awesome. Great venue for those guys. RS was pretty cool too, for never listening to all of it. Talked to both Ben and Tom afterward and both were very friendly/cool dudes. Can't wait to see them again.

I Can Get Back Up Now
Sometimes We Have Too Much Fun
Dirty Laundry

Carolina Heat
Livin' the Dream

Anarbor played the same set they've been playing, except that they added Where the Wild Things Are, apparently for the first time in two tours.

Forgive Durden played an encore of Jub Jub and I'm A Sucker For Fakes, it was fucking nuts. I think my roommate came in his pants.
