apparently it's being reported that brian billick will be back as the ravens coach next year.
am i the only one that thinks this is ridiculous?
in my opinion, he is the most overrated coach in recent memory.
yeah, he has a superbowl ring. but i think marvin lewis deserves more credit for the success that season than billick.
this guy's supposed to be a quarterback guru. that's not working out so well. i don't care if boller's had two good games in a row, billick's had several years to prove himself, and i don't think he has.
i just think he and the ravens have ran their course together. a change for both of them would be benficial.
but, that's just me.

i work for the guy who owns the ravens...and yes, we all now question his judgement and fear for our careers. billick is arrogant and overrated, and i would almost bet they're taking Kyle Boller beating up on bad teams at the end of the year as a sign that he should start next year. Should be another tough year for Baltimore next year.

Half of the problem of their shitty offense was having Matt Cavanaugh as their offensive coordinator and they finally got rid of him last year I think. I give them one more year before they scrap everything.
I think they should package a deal to whoever gets the number one pick and get rid of Jamal Lewis or Chester Taylor, their first round pick, and something else so that they can get Reggie Bush. If they were to pull that off, they'd be set.

His offenses have always sucked in Baltimore, and it can't just be blamed on the talent. Look at the roster this year, they should be in the top half of the league with Heap, Mason, Clayton, Lewis/Taylor, and Ogden on the o-line.

exactly. and that defense.
if he's not getting it done with what he has, what's he waiting for?
i understand reed and ray lewis were out most of the year. but still. this guy is touted as an offensive genious. fassel is a talented coordinator. neuheisel has something to offer.
there's so much talent and potential all over that organization, but it's not being put together properly.
i just think he's been given more than enough chances to prove his worth, and he keeps failing to prove anything.

i fucking hate Billick...he's a prick
i heard a stat the other day that the past 5 years he has had the worst offense in all of football...even worse than the texans...the thought of that is disgusting
