I was at last night's show, and all I can tell you is the sets are short. phone calls from home played a 20 minute set. Sparks The Rescue played about 25 minutes, Valencia had a 30 minute set, Cash Cash had about 35 minute set, and Every Avenue had a 45 minute set. I don't have exact songs, but it's not too hard to figure out (since each band doesn't have more then 1-2 albums) I do know that Every Avenue played their newest album mostly and a new song.

I'm pretty pleased with the set, I like WANARTB a lot better than TCBAP so I'm glad pretty much the entire set is filled with it but I'd really like to hear Tenth Street or The Closest I Am. Oh and also Carry On since it's my favourite Valencia song. I'm seeing them in Philly though where they are headlining so I'm hoping for at least one of those.

seriously, i don't understand why people don't get valencia. it's not like their music isn't catchy and it's not like they're ugly dudes! Alright, sounds good. The set seemed kind of short, but I guess everyone's got a short set this tour. And I haven't really seen much of them since they've switched from The Consequence to Cash Cash, but I mean, despite their music, they're good guys, so I'm happy they're getting exposure, but I'm not too stoked on being around all their 13 year old fans tomorrow.

Just got home from the show tonight. I really enjoyed Phone Calls From Home. They put on a pretty good live show. I also love Sparks the Rescue live.

I hear what you're saying and respectfully disagree. I would kill to see Valencia 7 times. I've only seen them twice and it was awesome. They are easily my favorite band making pop music right now. It really confuses me that they aren't huge. And they are really awesome guys.

Yea the one guy I know who doesn't like Valencia just doesn't like Shane's voice either. I personally love it mostly because it matches my range and I can sing along perfectly with it. I guess its just a certain taste you have to have.

It was a pretty decent show. And it says you're from Philly, so if I assume you're going to that show, it would probably be more worth it for you because Valencia's headlining that date.

Yeah, I don't really understand why they don't play Carry On. They just filmed a video for it and usually bands make videos for their bigger songs that they actually play. Maybe they'll throw it in once they release the video? And honestly, they attracted the most fans to this tour, atleast at my show. A solid half of the crowd left before Every Avenue and I know a lot of the people that still hung around for them, hate them (pretty much everyone I was there with.)

yeah they'll probably take some time off after warped tour in august and shane said that they want to go into the studio in september. he said he wasn't 100% sure if it was happening though and didn't wanna see a post on ap.net about it haha. they'll most likely have a small tour october-november then do their regular holiday shows in december. just none in the philly area since they're only allowed to play the area 3 times a year. =[

I don't think it has anything to do with that. Certain places and venues and stuff don't want the same bands playing there over and over and have some time span they have to leave before playing there again. I don't really know how it works, but that's what I've heard.

i said philly area not specifically philly. so west chester in march, they played in glenside in april and then tonight at the troc.

hahaha, niiiiice, well maybe he wont see this one, i mean it's cool that they'll be writing new stuff, but I just don't get it, they just released an awesome record and are back by freaking columbia, they could be riding this until half way through 2010 and headlining everything they do basically, idk i dont know why columbia doesnt push them, but whatev, i'll be pumped to hear new stuff as long as they start to get longer sets

yeah even tonight shane said they're writing a new record right now. but before when he mentioned it he said it's like the best stuff they've written and he's really excited about it so that makes me really happy and excited to hear it. the whole columbia thing kinda upsets me. like i'm really happy for them, but i just want them to be way bigger by now.

Every Avenue has a meet and greet before the show, (you get it if you got 4 tickets at the presale), and (at least at my date) everyone was hanging before/after/throughout the show.

i went to the allentown and philly date, allentown was alright, philly was epic because valencia headlined because its their hometown.

Best I've seen Valencia ever.
