Ok, so my best friend just came out to me that he likes to dress in drag. Im really wierded out. I mean, I know hes still the same guy, but right now, I can barely stand to talk to him. I'd probably be fine, but Im bi (probably the reason he chose me to tell) and well...I've made out with him before, and that just wierds me out.

I know theres not really any advice being asked for, I just had to write this out somewhere, and this is the only place I can think of to write that he wont see.

I wear girls argyle socks. because they are shorter and don't fall down. Plus they have a way better selection. That's about as far as I go. oh, I shave my toes. But that is far from your situation. My fiance said if I ever wore woman's underwear she'd leave me. I know what to do if I ever want out.

Well, like I've worn girls socks, and I have a girls jacket, but its just wierd to think that someone ive known for along time, could have been wearing girls clothes underneath the entire time.

you mean he could be wearing a nice guys' outfit, but with a bra and panties underneath?

Well in general he just wears t-shirt and jeans, but yeah, basic idea. I dunno. He is my best friend, its just way wierd.

well look at it this way, [this is an assumption, so i could be way off] but do you have any close friends that you told that you were bi? do you think they were wicked weirded out? or if they were, they eventually got over it and are still friends with you

i mean, yeah it's shocking, and you'll have to kind of deal with it and get over it, but it's not like you can't be friends with him...

i dunno...i just know that if i was gay or bi or even me just being straight, i'd want to surround myself with people who accept me...if he accepts you for who you are, then you should do the same for him...

Yeah, and im trying to, and I will with time. Like I said, I just had to have somewhere to get out my initial shock and wierded outness

I understand why you're freaked out right now, I freaked out when my best friend came out to me confessing she was a lesbian, and admitting she was in a relationship with another girl at the moment. I was extremely homophobic by that time too, I couldn't stand being flirted with by a girl, even if it was a joke, but I guess I realized that she was my friend and if I was judging her because she liked another sex then I would be missing out on all the fun I have with her. Don't worry about it, just give it time and you'll get used to it. Hopefully after posting about it here you'll feel better and be able to talk to him like you used to without thinking that he dresses in drag or is completely weird.

Good luck :D
