According to Billboard.com (www.billboard.com), Pete Townshend confirmed that The Who will hit the road in the summer of '06 in support of new material.

who's hitting skins on the tour? i don't know that there's a drummer alive who could lick keith moon's arsehole.
For me The Who are one of those bands who can't afford to lose a member - all four of them are/were a vital part of the band's sound

they use zack starkey. He;s ringo starr's kid and was given his first drumset by keith moon back when zack was a wee lad. No one can ever replace moon, who in my opinion is the best drummer of all time, but zack does him justice and doesnt try and show up moons parts in anyway. he;s solid. and as far as bass player goes now that jOhn entwistle is no logner with us, they will probably use pino palladino. he played with them on a tour the summer following entwistels death and did a tremendous job. The who still will rock live andwill always be an amazing band

Isn't the bassist from the Who in John Mayer Trio? Correct me if I'm wrong.
