hey im going into the studio at noon..today..and i had this crazy idea for a transiton into a song..

its basiclly taking the intro drums and slicing them.. like making them have that crazy skipping almost electronic drum sound all filtered and distorted...anyone good at that shit and would wanna help me out>???

Some kind of re-triggering plug-in. Like this (http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/), except you'd probably want something better.

Or you could just do it yourself, if you have a huge amount of time and patience.


Having said, if anyone knows of a better version of something that works similarly, I'd love to know about it.

I haven't played with it too much, but I'm willing to give it a shot. I make no guarantees though.

It basically does this kind of thing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCgENwOytuA). You can randomize it or choose what you want. If you have an idea of what you want to happen, then I can try to give it a shot.

how do you load a song on that thing? im trying it our right now.

It's a vst plugin, so you need a sequencing program to run it in. Cubase or Reason for example.

i got it running on my fruity loops but how do i put the song mp3 of what im trying to mess with.

I'm not sure, just import the song I guess. I'm not sure how you do it in Fruity Loops (I'm assuming you can). Try file > import or something like that.
