Fall of Troy Follow Up

The Fall of Troy (http://www.thefalloftroy.com/) have begun working on the follow-up to this year's Doppelganger:

"We are gonna disappear to begin shaping what's gonna be our next full-length. The material we have so far is coming together very well. Also we have a homecoming/new years celebration show at the old firehouse on Dec 30th. Where we may be showcasing some of the new material (as well as an older song or two). We are super stoked on our new merch as well. So hopefully we'll see you at the show."

I think it's all new material, and then after that they'll be doing the Ghostship record(Phantom of The Horizon?).

i liked Doppelganger alot. Maybe not as much as the S/T, but I've just about loved everything TFOT has put out so far so I'm kind of biased.

With Doppelganger I was like why listen to this when I can listen to the self titled? The new material was Ok, but the rerecorded stuff was pointless.

So I bought Doppleganger, I really havnt listened to it much, though I have enjoyed what I've heard....I'm gonna put it in and give it a full listen...we'll see what happens

yah, i personally liked the s/t better because they structured their songs diffrently; in which there was more emphasists on lyrics, and it had a fuller sound than in doppelganger.

The reason for all the rerecordings is because on the S/T they said they didn't have the budget to do the songs like they wanted. There you go. I look foward to this.

heres how itll work out:

fall of troy is going to release an album in 2006, and then in 2007 they gonna come out with Phantoms on the Horizon, aka re-worked ghostship demos plus more ghostships cd. Supposedly there are 7 or 8 ghostship songs to be released on that cd.
