EDIT: However, since you said 'relaxing', definitely Give Up, and any post-rock or jazz.

I like to mainly listen to concept albums or albums that are generally known for being complete albums. By complete albums I mean stuff like TDAG, where to get the full effect, you have to listen to every song, normally in order. Tomorrow night I hope to do all of the Amory Wars, which=four hours

I attempted it once, and keep in mind this is like, starting at midnight, lying down in darkness in a nice comfy bed. I made it about halfway through Good Apollo Volume 1, then I was just like, "screw this" and went to sleep from being damn tired.

Dear Juliet is most definitely the most soothing and best sleeping music that I have heard, well atleast top 3, and that is high up there with my acoustic stuff.

you made it pretty far considering how long all the songs are, and good apollo is such a good album!
Sunsets and Car Crashes by The Spill Canvas and North by Something Corporate, or putting my ipod on shuffle works sometimes.

Man, I used to be able to fall asleep to anything
I wouldn't mind putting Transatlanticism on repeat right now though and dozing off. Just the song though, I tried putting Death Cab on the night before before college orientation and wound up staying up all night, needless to say it didn't work haha
I feel like PRP!'s Texas would be a good choice though
Helois's Eingya, or really any ambient album, is sublime to fall asleep to.
Also, pretty much any GSYBE or Explosions in the Sky

Everytime I put on The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me while laying in bed, I fall asleep at the end of Millstone, then Jesus Christ seeps into my dreams and I wake up near the end of it. Then I fall asleep at the beginning of Degausser and wake up at the end of Handcuffs. True story.

But then again, when restless I sometimes play something like Burn Piano Island, Burn by The Blood Brothers or Mongrel by the Number Twelve Looks Like You, it works quite well suprisingly.

This band sounds like band band
and it sounds like they ripped off band
sometimes I get bored with the band cause they sound too much like band
but they remind me of band, so i think when i get reminded of band that could mean i am really smart at knowing music based on band comparison to band.
I kinda miss when they were the old band, but the new band is cool
just I really respect the old band and the band now has things I cant describe but I know are not band and arent good as band.
Im pretty sure that opinions on band are objective based upon rules formulated by my own opinion but sometimes I feel like listening to band when other times band hits the spot so thats how i know band is good when I feel like i can hear it lots through my ears and my brain processes it pretty good each time, so thats what band is to me

Haha nice nice! Well, I have been in quite a few metal bands, pop punk bands, punk bands, indie bands, alt rock bands, just about everything... but this Metal project seems to be the most successful, mainly cause they were touring a lot before some of the members dropped out... so now that they have material that is pretty recognized in Florida and a few other states, and they have somewhat of a decent metal fan base to start off with.
I figured it could definitely be good to play shows with and get some more experience. So its not really like I am just starting it, its definitely got like 4 years longevity and some pretty decent music thats already been written and demo'd and sent to a number of labels and they are already talking to some good places, so what could it hurt? Ya know?

Uh, yeah. A lot of M&A is more subdued, but come on. Dark Center of the Universe, A Different City, Alone Down There, Paper Thin Walls, I Came as a Rat, Life Like Weeds...Pretty frantic stuff. Meanwhile, LCW has Teeth Like God's Shoeshine, Conveinent Parking, Doin' the Cockroach, Cowboy Dan, Trailer Trash, Shit Luck, and others.
Though, actually, looking back on it, 'drive fast beat ass' was a bit too harsh. Forgot how introspective these dudes could be :-(
