good charlotte gig

hey guys i was just wondering if any of u out there from oz went to the good charlotte gigs last week? especially the one in sydney on sunday nite-i was at that one and it rocked!
now believe me, i was a bit skeptical, u no, being gc and everything-the whole is it punk? but seriously, ive been 2 a lot of shows before and this one would have to have been the greatest!!
the atmosphere and everything, the whole crowd just went crazy and gc sang so many songs and had a great stage presence. some guy i saw even said that apart from blink it was the best one he'd been to!! i dont have anything as good as blink182 to compare the gc gig with but i have seen unwritten law, sum 41, guttermouth, nfg, ataris, vandals, and the list goes on and seriously good charlotte were better than unwritten law-for me that is saying alot!!!!
so what did u guys think that went??! for amusement only r another awesome band - they were one of the supports and i totally love them!! that was the sixth or seventh time ive seen them and their new songs sounded rad!!

um, where did the blink comment come from?

anyway, I saw GC live a few years back and thought they were kinda meh. I still do. Joel can't really sing and the guitars always sound weird when I see them live. Yeah, they do have lotsa energy and a great stage presence, but when I hear the songs I sometimes cringe.

((But take note, i say the exact same thing whenever I hear Ozzy live, and that still doesn;t stop me from going to Ozzfest, or stop me from thinking Ozzy is the greaatest thing in music ever))

seriously i would consider rating it as four, maybe even five stars!!! i wasnt expecting them 2 b that great but all the songs sounded pretty good, the guitars were good all the same effects from off the album.
they played for like and hour and a half almost, covering all their up beat songs from both albums. really the only downside was when before gc came on joel brought out ben lee and introduced him as his fave aussi performer, saying that ben lee was in his top 3 fave performers/bands of all time along with nofx and rancid!! i mean to take a line from the ataris, MOST OF ALL BEN LEE U SUCK!!!! he even sang some songs but the sudiences soon showed him what wwe thought-we pelted him with water bottles!!!
so in my opinion the good charlotte gig totally went off!!

hahahahaha big day out hahahahaha we dont even get that. we were gonna have silverchair and i had my little ticket and was all excited then daniel johns came down with that fuckin arthritis and they cancelled an aint comin back. cunts. the only thing we used to get was gone south which is like a mini BDO but thats cancelled now after not enough ppl goin i think. grinspoon come down once in a while and i love to go see them they rock and we get like alex lloyd an ppl lik that but not much else. it fuckin sux and they wonder why all the young ppl are leavin tassie for the mainland. dickheads.
