As much as I love all the bands left, JEW has 16 years of solid records under their belt, they deserve this most (sure you could argue that Blink had been around as long, but they had the hiatus, and I prefer JEW, but it's close).

Quality is always more important than quantity. My opinion about JEW entails both. I think they have 16 years of multiple high quality records. I think they're worthy simply because through the tons of songs produced in their long career I have yet to hear something I don't like. Definitely wouldn't put Dog Problems over anything by JEW, NFG, Blink, STD, or Green Day, but that's simply a matter of taste.

I don't think that blink-182 vs Brand New is that certain; it's probably the most likely, but I can see Jimmy Eat World competing with either of those bands and coming out victorious. Blink has the reunion hype, and most users are in love with at least one Brand New album, but the JEW love is undeniable. We'll see.

I love Brand New, but I've been into NFG for longer and while Brand New has two phenomenal albums, NFG has ever only put out one album that didn't do anything for me out of their entire catalog.

This was really tough, but I had to give it to NFG.

i can still whip out nfg -s/t or nothing golden can stay and sing every line of it and bring back some amazing memories, but the same thing doesn't happen when i listen to your favorite weapon. also, nfg has continued to put out above par product which has lasting effects on me. not to say brand new hasn't done that, because they've also put out some great albums, but i havn't listened to deja entendu in almost 3 years, simply because i have no desire to and because i just didn't enjoy it that much. nfg>brand new.

if you look at it based on which band has progressed the most, i think Brand New wins easily. yes, NFG does what they do well... but all of their albums sound very similar. YFW might not be very good, but when you compare it to the albums they made after that it's amazing how far Brand New's sound has come.

New Found Glory certainly doesn't appeal to all either. Jordan's vocals are as polarizing as listening to TDAGARIM.
