im not a fan of the music but they played at a show i went to last year and i hung out with some guy named paul in the band, he was a pretty cool guy

well they are from here. so i saw them tons of times before AP even heard of them. and i might only see them twice. it depends if i go to Flipside in VA. if i do i will catch them there on a sunday. then tuesday there is an instore at our local Best Buy and then a record release show that i am going to work at.

Group of guys look at me as I walk by and stare at my Maxeen shirt.
"You like Maxeen?"
"You know who they are?"
"Dude, we played a show with them before, we love them!"

"We're in a band called Transition. The rest of our members are around here somewhere"
"Never heard of you guys but lemme hear your CD."
Listens to it.
"I'll take one."

"Let's take pictures and get autographs before you guys get big and shit so I can say I knew you guys way back."

After sometime I walk around some more and the EXACT same thing happens with the other band members. Then later on I find the entire group and we talk again. Good fucking times.

they are super nice. at the start of April i was at the STD show here in town. Dan and Harrison were there. me and my friend said hi and said we were stoked for the new CD. Dan offered to let us come listen to it in his car after the show. my friend had to leave but i got to go to Dan's car and hear like 7 songs off of the album. it was so nice of him. he's such a cool dude. then it leaked less than a week later and i got to hear all the songs anyway. but that's not the point. he went out of his way to just let me hear new stuff. such good kids.
