1 Houston
2 New Orleans
3 Tennessee
4 New York Jets
5 Green Bay
6@ San Francisco
7@ Oakland
8 Buffalo
9 Detroit
10 Arizona
11St. Louis
12Cleveland
13 Baltimore
14 Philadelphia
15 Atlanta
16 Miami
17 Minnesota
18 Dallas
19 San Diego
20 Kansas City

San Fran and Oakland had identical Opponent Win/Loss % so they flip a coin for the 6th pick.

I think this draft is going to be crazy at the top with movement. I can see HOU,NO,TEN all trading their picks. The only thing I think for sure is that the Packers take Hawk at #5. It would make sense for NO to take Leinart but I don't think they'll dish out the money.

I'm actually thinking that their is no way Houston can trade their pick. They'll trade Dominick Davis for some later picks, but I doubt there is a fan in Houston that doesn't want Reggie Bush.

Funny, 2 weeks ago it looked like San Fran was gonna have #1, now they might get #7.

i doubt houston will trade the top pick. they want bush.

but, it wouldn't surprise me at all for the jets to offer something and swap picks, so houston can still take ferguson at number 4 and also get some help in other positions.

that'd make sense because houston needs so much help. but it's impossible to pass up bush.

i think new orleans stays at 2 and takes leinart or young, depending on combine workouts and whether or not young comes out.

I dunno ...I was thinking about it, and I think its likely the Jets will make a run for the #1 pick and it makes sense for Houston because of this ...

Jets take Bush at #1
NO takes Leinart #2
Tennesee takes DE Mario Williams (who declared today)
Houston takes Ferguson (the guy they want all along), plus they pick up 2-3 other picks from the Jets

However, they run the risk of Tennesee taking Ferguson, which could happen. Williams is being called the best DE to come out since Peppers though and Vanden Bosch is a free agent.

Regardless, it's going to be fun to watch this play out. I love the draft.

Chad Greenway might be around then too. He's a helluva LB.

I think my man Kiwanuka is going to the Lions at #9.

yeah like I said before, I don't think anyone is going to really pass on Reggie Bush. I think the Texans will draft him and try to trade Davis.

That team is SO terrible though ..they have so many holes to fill and RB isnt one of them. They have a chance to significantly upgrade another part of their team and take a step forward in competing. Taking Reggie Bush would just be a step back (although in 5 years it might pay off) ..he isn't going to succeed if he has nobody to block him. He's going to be playing against NFL defenses, not Oregon State or Washington. He needs good blockers.

I think you have to keep Davis, who is an exceptional back, and trade the pick. There's probably going to be a team that pulls a Ditka and trades virtually every single pick for that one. Houston can't pass that up.

yeah, but that doesnt consider the team's needs. Thats just how they rate a player's pro prospects. For instance, they dont expect Green Bay to take Vince Young with the 5th pick ..they just think hes the 5th best player available.

it's a weak class for the secondary. They're gonna hafta upgrade through free agency. Sam Madison would be a decent #2 or nickel CB.

then, next year it'll be interesting to see which one of he or quinn end up top overall and the heisman winner.

Me too. Only way I see him come out is if he absolutely lights up the Rose Bowl and Texas wins the national title. I bet he wants another shot at the Heisman too. That's no shoe-in though with Brady Quinn coming back.

i'd love that...but you know the eagles, they never get the sexy picks. for once though, even if they go for a solid O lineman...we need it. i just hope they use this pick and get a quality guy rather than trade down for more picks which is the kind of thing they do.

The Jets are either going to trade up for Bush, or trade down and get DeAngelo Williams. I want Bush but they might need to trade down to replace their o-line. Plus their going to have salary cap problems.

Maroney might be an option too. He's the #2 back on a few lists I've read. ESPN had him way down though, I'm surprised.

Yeah they definately have a lot of holes though. They have to make a splash after a year like that though. They have invested too much in Pennington to draft a QB though. I'm praying for Bush.

I think it's going to happen. Houston kept their GM even though they fired Capers ...he'll build upon the team he already has there, which includes Davis. I think the Jets trade up to #1, and Houston takes Ferguson at #4, even though his stock is falling.

Jets should draft AJ Hawk, and then get a RB like Michael Bush early 2nd round. Imagine Vilma and Hawk together at LB.

i have a feeling that Vince will be a solid qb, but not a great QB.
And I think Leinart will be more of a mid-grade, game manager than anything.

I have no evidence of this, just a gut feeling.

haha. right.

I'm still trying to figure out how there were 8 teams that had worse years than my Detroit Lions...

and looking at the ESPN rankings and "mock draft" or whatever, it shows them taking Deangelo Williams. This, 2 seasons removed from drafting kevin jones. And while I can't say I'm surprised, i'll be livid if they make this retarded, retarded pick.
