And I have sat here watching in the rain.
And I have stayed here on these curbs for days,
I fell in love.

She turned her back when I needed her to stay.
She turned her back when I needed her to say,
I fell in love, boy.

Stuck in the wilderness, of the city, lost in my head.
In thoughts of past regrets, and chances I had let
die on the curb below where I now stand.

Sometimes I wander streets to see what has been done,
Sometimes I wonder why, these people have become,
what I've become.

Then looking in the mirror I see where I went wrong.
And looking in the mirror I see what has, to be done,
cause I fell in love, love.

Caught up in the wilderness of surroundings, I got a path.
To stand for one last time, from the cub where I had sat.
and go on home for one last time, and win her back.

And I will win her, love on back,
and I'll win her heart back.
Make her love me, hope I can,
or I'll die, below where I, now stand.

This is somewhat blah to me. I mean, it isn't bad, but it isn't anything that really catches my attention and makes me want to read it again. I feel like I've heard this before. Love. Regret. Determination. etc.
