GENERATION WAR!
Better decade all around (movies, music, life, happiness, sports, politics etc.) whatever. In your mind which decade proved to be superior?

Good premise. I've been in my prime this decade, so I gotta say the 2000's. I'm just confused on what I'm gonna call Madden 10.

So much shit has happened in the 2000
1990 was super wonderful compared to this...

Nothing beats the '90s TV was better, life was better, school was better. Although I love the music of the 2000s.

Movies of the 1990s were increible - American Beauty, Fight Club, etc.
Also, I have a soft spot for 90s pop music, even the stuff that was terrible. Spice Girls FTW

Everything else - 90's
i think the 90's were better. no worries and no responsibilities.
the world has taken a turn for the worse this decade
2000s, because the internet has made music much more diverse.

forrest gump, american history x, fight club, jerry mcguire take the movie side to the 90s.
nirvana was the biggest rock band of the 90s than any band has been this decade, and they actually had some artistic value the biggest band this decade is who? nickleback? fall out boy? so i go music to the 90s. and a lot of the bands i like these days are rooted in the 90s (radiohead, modest mouse, etc.)
politically, we've seen 9/11, the war in iraq (bigger than any conflict in the 90s), the election of 2000, the election of the first african american president, etc. so from a current events standpoint, i go 00s.
so in my three favorite areas, the 90s won two. my vote goes 90s.

2000's
I'm pretty young though and don't really remember 1990's so you can hold that against me
I like music in both decades though

90s fashion sucked big time. But how easy going that decade was, was much better

hold on....ive seen so many people say the 90s because it was "Easy"...which is unfair because you're only picking the 90s because you were under 10 years old, of course it was easier haha.
i mean, if you really wanna pick the 90s because of the current reccession and stuff...and iraqi war, thats fine.
90s...movies, music, tv, fashion, attitudes, president
00s....better food, better technology (not neccesarily a good thing), download music!, internet aim (again not neccesarily a good thing)
im surprised at how many people picked 00s though.

No one on this site remembers the 90's truly. So every vote means nothing.

Pretty much this. Although I feel my general life is better in the 2000s, the state of the world was better in the 90s.
I miss when movies were made about original ideas.

Even though i was not much in the 90's i think they were better because more families where together and people were more responsible and there was alot less things to worry about and now technology has changed everything. people are lazzy and there is alot of crime going on and the economy sucks. alot of music from the 90's is actually pretty good. :-)
