Rilo Kiley (http://www.rilokiley.com) frontwoman Jenny Lewis will be releasing her own solo album, Rabbit Fur Coat, on Conor Oberst's record label Team Love (http://www.team-love.com/) on January 24th. She will also be playing a few solo shows next month to test the waters.

jenny's getting way too much press for RFC. it's kind of pissing me off, because the elected's album comes out the same day and is even better than hers, and they've gotten nothing - and they have all the same news as her. three release shows this month, album comes out the 24th, touring with stars next month, is also up for pre-order through sub pop right now.

i mean, i love her album, but it's just not as good as SSS.
