1) Texas (with Young only, if he leaves... they move down some).
2) OSU (Smith and Ginn are back = two possible heisman canidates.. their defense loses their core though)
3) USC (Too much talent to not rank in the top 5, White = Heisman Canidate)
4) Notre Dame (Returns just about entire offense minus Stovall, 2 lineman and pretty much the entire defense along with a great recruiting class to fill voids)
5) Florida (Return some key players plus probably #1 ranked recruiting class)
6) West Virginia (Slaton and White both back)
7) Georgia
8 ) LSU
9) Miami
10) Clemson

you gotta have TCU in there, even if their kicker did get killed.

hahah the fact that you don't have FSU in the top 5 boggles me. VERY VERY Young team. Penn State will open in the top 10 also, but won't last there. Morrelli may turn some heads though and he has the WRs to do it. Losing those 17 starters, 18 if Posluzny leaves will hurt though.

I think the 49ers will be tough again

PSU losses way too many people to be considered a top 10... top 15 maybe, but top 10 no

FSU's program was on a downslope, but hell, Chris Rix was their QB, what else do you expect? They'll be good next year though with Weathford's gained experience.

1. Ohio St
2. USC
3. Texas
4. Florida
5. Florida St
6. West Virginia
7. Notre Dame
8. LSU
9. Miami
10. Boston College ( ;) )

i'm gonna go a little overboard here and predict next season's BCS. Keep in mind there's 5 games. Non BCS D1-A conference champs also get a bid if they finish in the top 12 of the standings

Fiesta Bowl: TCU (top 12 in BCS, so automatic berth) vs Texas
Rose Bowl: Notre Dame vs Florida
Sugar Bowl: LSU vs West Virginia
Orange Bowl: Florida St vs Miami
National Championship: Ohio St vs USC

The preseason polls will be:

1. Texas
2. Ohio State
3. USC
4. Florida
5. Notre Dame

Personally I don't agree with this list but it will be something like this.

i have a feeling OSU is going to have a HELL of a team next year.

I think they have the #2-3 draft class too

Offensively? Yeah. But their defense will be lacking. They are getting hit hard by the losses of a couple guys. Plus Ted Ginn didn't have a great year until the Bowl Game. and The bowl game last year is what got everyone excited for him and then he had a mediocre season.
