The Snake The Cross The Crown (http://www.snakecrosscrown.com) have not broken up and apparently have been working on new material. Also, rumors about the band playing shows in the Spring are now becoming true because according to this website (http://www.thebetabar.com/calendar.htm), the band have a show booked on March 13th with Owen, Vedera and City On Film.

Same effect if you turn on your CD and dim the lights, He sings perfect, but they don't do much. Except at the end the little drum circle they get going the three times I saw them.

To me, that little "drum circle" was worth it to go. I saw them when they and Mae opened for Hot Rod Circuit (what a joke), and yeah...they didn't sound all that different from the CD, but it was still good. No matter what, there's still something about being in a room with a bunch of people, singing the same song, regardless.
