Agreed. Season 1 was incredible and revolutionary, but every season seemed to get exponentially better. (except season 4. it was great, but was lacking at times)

After watching them all about 3 times I'd have to say season 4 is the best imo. There was just so many twists in season 4 and I loved that.

although the second to last episode where the bomb went off in palmers room and they tried to play it off like he died in the blast was pretty sweet

After watching them all about 3 times I'd have to say season 4 is the best imo. There was just so many twists in season 4 and I loved that.
I think 4's the worst. It's got twists, but it doesn't make any sense if you think about the sequencing of events. Plus, there's no sense of continuity with the 24 hour day. Season 3 did that the best.

2 was pretty shit I thought. You don't really know much of what's going on, even for 24 standards.

3 used to be my favourite, but lately I've found I can't get into it as much.

Gotta disagree with that. 2 was the most suspenseful, I find the other seasons to be somewhat predictable, especially season 4.

Yeah, 2 was suspenseful, but the idea of a nuclear bomb was kind of cliche. Season 3 was pretty sweet - the virus was awesome, and left you at a huge cliffhanger every week.

Season 4 was crazy though. When I saw jack slide down a mountain while shooting terrorists I flipped out. But the fact that he completely demolished an entire terrorist fortress while saving the Secretary of Defense was a little unbelievable.
