Saw these guys with Mury, Person L, Dear in the Headlights, and Steel Train. That show was glorious now that I think about it...
Their new album is kind of an opera style thing right? Or a story or play or something?

I like Razia's Shadow. I just can't get past Dutton's voice sometimes.

His voice is awesome. The first time I heard it, I was a little turned off, but it's grown on me so much.
I love Razia's Shadow.
Granted there's some unbearably cheesy lines but that's in keeping with most "musicals" and there's some quality lyrics on other parts of the album as well. It was a really bold and ambitious project to attempt and I admire Dutton for coming up with something a bit different from the norm.

I won it on here actually, I'm very awed by it. He just wrote "thank you Olivia!" on it and he signed it underneath. Very pretty poster.
I liked Razia's Shadow, but Wonderland is definately the better album.

I still haven't listened to Razia's Shadow in its entirety. I probably will sometime tonight now I think of it.
I can't get into Wonderland the way I love Razia's.
I think I owe it to the fact that Gatsby's American Dream is one of my favorite bands, and Wonderland sounds like a poppier version of Volcano.

I like wonderland, But I honestly love Razia. I love Razia so much I'm trying to get my school to perform it next year as a musical.. I was supposed to see them on the 5th but I'm a fool and ended up missing it. Yes its cheesy, but its perfect..... I think its my favorite album. Nothing has ever captured me like Razia's Shadow.. Thomas Dutton is a genius, and Razia's shadow is a masterpiece.

It was kind of dissapointing. My best friend (Jefferson Rank on AP.net) doesn't like Razia's at all, and when they didn't play any Wonderland, he was SO pissed.

Thanks for the link, that was very interesting. I especially liked how he talked about Shawn:
When he was recording, he put a mirror in front of the microphone, and put all this weird makeup on his face and was staring at himself, and getting so into character. I think he did a really, really good job, and just going for it.
He seemed like he got more into it than anyone else. I could easily imagine him doing this.

He's working on a stage version of Razia's Shadow. That's all his plans are right now as far as I know.
