My friend said that someone hacked her aol sn. I'm wondering is that even possible for someone to get someone else's password like that? She said she had never given her screenname out before but it keeps saying wrong password..I'm confused.

yeah thats happened to me before...its when you open some email you get and it sends out your password then the next time you try to sign on you cant because they change it and you have to call aol and do all this stuff then aol will give you another password

yes it is very possible... the password is stored on a file in your computer. If he hacked into her comoputer.. stople the file. Then read the encryptian he woudl be able to log in and change her password!

it is possible for people who know what they're doing. i got hold of a program a few weeks back that allows me to take complete control of any MSN user. i can log them out remotely, and when they log back on it shows me their password. course, i wouldn't use this on anybody, it's just fun to try out on duplicate accounts!

wha- what? you wouldnt use something like that? why on earth not. if i got ahold of that all 150 contacts on my msn list would have a different password by tommorrow.
but then id be all alone and have nobody to talk to.

well for a start, all 15 people on my list i know in real life, and are friends, so it wouldn't be very funny to change the password.

its very possible, especially on AOL, my dad's name has been hacked 3 times because he's a retard and cant make up complicated passwords. 2 of those times, they got our credit card info from AOL too, cuz porno started showin up on the bill. AOL is shit, i'm gettin a cable connection next month. :D

It is called a "trojan Horse" someone can take a zapper thing, drive by your house and access your aol account. It happened to me last month and they sent out loads of porno to my address book. including our school resident police officer.

Hackers arent dumb...theirs many ways to get a password, and some of them are quite easy...its just a matter of knowing what youre doing.
