Have to go with Carolina, assuming they play the way they can for three straight games to get there. They were the last of this bunch to go that far, and they have the kind of team to get it done.

seahawks are overrated...they play the 49ers the cardinals and the rams twice a year...that is a guaranteed 6 victories right there. sure they beat the colts but that was without tony dungy.

You mean without Manning, Edge, Harrison, Wayne, Saturday, June, Sanders, Simon, etc. Shaun Alexander got to celebrate tying his TD record against a defense with 8 starters out.

The NFC playoffs bore me...I'm just watching to see what Steve Smith could do

Yeah, NFC playoffs don't have shit on the AFC. Only thing I'd be interested in seeing is Seattle's offense against Chicago's defense. Probably won't have a chance, as I doubt both teams win their first playoff game.

Chicago. Nobody is going to go there and beat them in the divisional round, and I'll take their D on the road over Seattle. They may not be a pretty choice, but it always comes back to defense in the playoffs and there isn't any better than Chicago.

I don't know. Their tackling has been rather sloppy down the stretch here. And I think Grossman/Orton will fold under the pressure and make huge mistakes. I just can't trust a team that struggles to score 21 points in the playoffs.

I just don't think there's a team in the NFC that can put up more than 10 on them in the playoffs, especially in the divisional round. Thomas Jones is the most underrated back in the playoffs this year - the guy can run and has a line in front of him.

I think they'll win two close, low scoring games.

isn't the real poll question "Does it really matter?"

yeah, in reality, I think the #1 teams from both sides go and play, and Indy finally wins it

I honestly don't think Indy will make it to the super bowl. Afterall, the Patriots are getting healthy at the right time. The broncos, steelers...lots of competition. I think the colts go down in the AFC Championships to the broncos. And you guys are all retarded with the whole "don't you mean who's going to lose the superbowl..." Give it up...it's old and plus, the bears could beat most of those teams in the AFC playoffs, and the seahawks could beat the bears. I mean do you guys honestly believe the bears will come into seattle and their defense will be enough to stop the Seahawks' even better offense? Not going to happen. I mean you can't play cover 2 on our passing offense. You can't put pressure on our quarterback, or shut down the running game, or even get past our o-line, best in the NFL. Sure Osi Umenyiora gave Walter Jones some competition, but do you see that happening again if the giants make it that far? No. Your precious AFC is overrated and the Seahawks will be working their asses off to finally get the respect they deserve.

Only three teams in the NFC have a real shot at the super bowl. Chicago, Seattle, and Washington. It will be Chicago.

CHICAGO.

We could take on a AFC team no worries.

Seahawks don't have anything else besides Alexander, and the Bears defense tooooo good.

We beat the Panthers before, we can do it again.

Giants don't show much of a fight.

Nobody will win in Soldier Field when the time comes.

EDIT: and yea commatosa is right, the Pats arn't all that hard to beat. The Eagels, Rams and Panthers could have beat them..made simple mistakes and that damn kicker will come in and save thier asses.

Is that why the Bears went 1-3 against the AFC North? NFC is like Division 2 compared to the Division 1 level in the AFC.

thank you for agreeing with me...BUT the bears defense is good, very good. But their offense sucks. It should be a very interesting matchup, the best offense vs. best defense. I still believe that our offense has what it takes to beat the bears. I mean, the bears defense ineffective 4 times this year (and yeah, the seahawks started off 2-2, BUT they won 11 in a row after that because of their offense....and their loss to Green Bay doesn't count, just like how I don't brag that the seahawks beat the colts). Also, our secondary has been completely deteriorated, but all but Ken Hamlin are coming back (knock on wood) before the playoffs. I really don't see any other team that's quite as complete as the Seahawks. I mean, what makes Shaun Alexander so unstoppable is the run blocking. And you can't double team any of our receivers cause they're all equal threats....especially since Matt Hasselbeck is in the prime of his career.....and Darrel Jackson's back.....and Joe Jurevicius comes off the bench......okay I'm done......oh one more thing.....Matt Hasselbeck, Shaun Alexander, Mack Strong, Walter Jones, and Steve Hutchinson are all starters in the pro bowl.
