okay so this was my week...

my brother threw out his back last weekend...he tried to go to work on monday, got sent to the doctors, he might have a slipped disk and will probably need surgery...
tuesday morning my mom slipped on the ice in my driveway, and now she's been laid out...my grampy did the same thing...

then...the next day my dad was driving to work and all of a sudden he couldn't see out of his right eye...he went to work, got sent to the doctors, and [the way it was explained to me] you know how if you have a stroke? you get a blood clot stuck in your heart, or in your brain? well he had one in his eye...basically a a blood clot is in one of the arteries in his eye and it's cutting off the blood supply to that part of his...which equals nerve damge that might not heal
the doctor basically said there's nothing we can do but wait and hope that the clot passes to another part of his eye that's higher up [because it's in the middle right now] so that most of his vision can come back
andd the doc said that something like this is a huge warning sign of a BIG stroke coming...oh and did i mention my nana died from a stroke?

yeah this has been a pretty shitty week...Happy New Year

thanks, it just seems retarded that all this stuff would happen all together at once...

my grampy is a tough old bastard so god knows he won't let this bug him too much [he's already had two heart attacks, both his knees and shoulders done] and my mom is tto stubborn to sit on the couch for long...

i'm just scared for my dad...it really freaked me out...yeah, he's like outta shape and everything, but i just never pictured him being sick, or in danger...

Yeah, I'd probably be a little freaked out, too...

..It's bad how all of that would just happen at once.

I think you have everyone's support dude, especially mine, im having a hard time too, in the past three years ive lost 3 good friends, 1 grandad, my step nan and grandad and this year my last remaining grandad has took a turn for the worst, i know how you feel dude, i always find it nice to know that somewhere in the world, there's someone feeling the same emotions that you are, to know your not alone in the world.... get back to us all of how your dad gets on.....
