has a borderline good team EVER needed a quarterback so badly?
if they're smart they'll trade up for matt leinart. if they don't do that, think they'll wind up with jay cutler, omar jacobs, brodie croyle or someone else?

has Omar Jacobs said he was entering the draft?
I think Cutler could be the best qb taken from this draft.

they should get Drew Olson, the greatest 4th quarter quarterback in history

yeah, Jacobs entered today.
I think Jay Cutler is their best option, because Saban is going to have this team winning next year as long as they have a reliable qb who won't make mistakes.

Yeah, they need to trade up for Leinart. They'll be badass if they can get a decent QB. Trade Ricky or Ronnie for the #2, maybe including their first pick. That would be worth it for them..hmm...now that I think about it the Saints would not be interested in that. They are not getting Leinart!

Yeah, its a rare year where the top 2 teams don't really need a RB or a QB as a dire need (though Brooks is bad, he can still have a decent year and they make the playoffs). I really see Vince Young going to the Titans, modeled after McNair as a running pocketish passer, he would fit well and have a year or two to learn.
The Dolphins, once they get rid of Ricky Williams for a draft pick or two, should actually be able to make the playoffs this year, they have the team for it if they get a QB (Brees would be nice if he weren't getting resigned in San Diego).

He may not get re-signed until after surgery to see if he can play because he's injured- i think if they didn't re-sign him and they franchised again him he'd be pissed enough to leave.

They need to keep brees. Is Rivers really going to be that much better than Drew Brees?
Besides, it's LT's team anyways, so as long as brees can cut down on his mistakes (INTs) then San Diego will be all right.

i think the dolphins will draft cutler.
they seem to really like him.
or they're trade for culpepper. that's a possibility.

uh
the saints BASICALLY kicked aaron brooks off the team by the end of the season
they are morons, and will probably draft vince young.

they always have so many options at QB in the offseason, and then do nothing to solve it....
with a good QB, they could continue this 6 game win streak into next season
a trade for brees or rivers would be a good idea for them. i basically base every player on how they are in madden, and rivers accuracy in madden is pretty ridiculous, like a 97 or something.

trading for drew brees would make them a pretty decent team. theyd need to get a better tight end though cuz thats like brees' pacifier.

I agree. Rivers isn't tested and there is no reason for him to play. He's an insurance policy though, so he isn't going anywhere this year.
But also, it's not just the INT's that will help them win, As long as Marty doesn't suspend the star-TE for the first game of the year, or doesn't forget to give LT the ball in the first three games they'll play fine.
