I have posted Poison The Well's (http://www.poisonthewell.com) response to having their demos recently leak.
PTW DEMOS ON THE INTERNET...
So, I guess some of our old demos leaked out on the internet some how. Just to give a brief history on them, those where the first songs we had wrote when we started writing for the new record and where the first songs we wrote with Jason and Ben in the mix. Some of the songs where incomplete vocally and the very early stages of maturity. We did them about a year and 2 months ago at this place called the Steakhouse. The quality isn't the best, but you get the idea. Not all the songs are going to be used for the record, just some. So, if you happen to come across them, don't think that they are the final versions or songs that will make the cut.

Love,
PTW
PS-I'm sure you can find them on Limewire or any type of file trading program

soulseek.

Yeah, soulseek, because waiting an hour to download a single song that will be impossible to find from a single user is AWESOME.
Limewire is much better if you want just one song. It's hard to find single songs on soulseek, you can only download from one person at once, it isn't good if you want the song straight away etc
I love soulseek and all but it's complete bollocks at finding stuff that thousands of people don't have.

The demos were awesome and I have no doubt that the songs they use will be way better.

How can you even say that? Tear From The Red might possibly have been BETTER than OOD, and the last one wasn't half bad either. They are still a great abnd and i'm gonna go check out those demos.

The last song on the demos was the best one. Too bad it was the shortest.

haha, seriously. that guy most not be using the real slsk or something. slsk is the greatest music sharing software ever. i can find what i'm looking for on soulseek 95% of the time. the other 5% i use bitlord.
Okay, let me rephrase what I said for people who didn't find it obvious.
You can only download a file from one person. Limewire allows multiple connections for the same file, soulseek does not because it's just not made that way.
Maybe you download stuff that is really popular then, because there's been loads of shit I've never found on soulseek (things I searched for a million times and even had in my wishlist) but then I've found them instantly on Limewire.
Soulseek is good for downloading whole albums. Limewire is good for downloading single hard to find songs.
