Bengals fan have a valid excuse here. Still, their defense is awful and they probably still lose the game if Palmer plays. Kitna was not a factor in the first half, not even a factor to start the second half, only after the botched FG did he struggle. Marvin Lewis was outcoached again. He abandoned the run despite Rudi having a nice game when it was still close. He got pass happy and paid for it when the Steelers stopped bringing the blitz in the 3rd.

a little late to this topic but here goes:

its a shame that palmer went down. but kitna actually played pretty good, and there was no playmaking let down on his part. the injury had more of an emotional impact on cincy than anything.
cincy will be back, and i firmly believe you have to lose in the playoffs before you learn how to win in the playoffs.
too bad cincy stopped playing in week 15.
great 11-3 season bengals, ill give you credit.
