hey kids. everytime i'm about to give up on the possibility of decent new punk music I find a gem like Carbon/Silicon or 241'ers. The problem is the gems are getting few and far between. Some of my favorite bands are The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite, The Riverdales, Poison Idea, the first Neurosis album, Econochrist, Born Against, Stockyard Stoics. I like anarcho, street punk, anything clash inspired. I was hoping someone could key me up on some of the newer underground bands that they like. Obviously I like and know about the classics, I'm talking anything like in the past 10 years. Thanks.

You seem to have done the opposite for me, keying me up on some underground bands. I haven't heard of half the bands you mentioned.

On the otehr hand, you might like to try "Brain Failure". they're a street punk band in China and got banned from music stations and TV. hah.
