I'm a 19yr old guitarist looking for a guitarist, drummer, bassist, and vocaist in the northern mass, southern new
hampshire area to form a band with(musicians near my age). I live in Haverhill, MA, have transportation, and am
willing to travel a bit.I like playing a hybrid punk/metal style such as bands like Avenged Sevenfold(my fav) and
coheed and Cambria and In Flames. A big fan of melody and harmonized dualing guitars as well as a tight rythm(heavy
and pretty parts), bass that doesnt just act as a third guitar, drumming that doesnt involve straight double bass
all the time, and a vocalist(male or female) that can sing or a least tries to sing, im sick of all these bands
these days with great music and then a vocalist that growls. Now im not saying that I dont like scmeaming, but it
can be done tastefully to bring a little umph to the part. Now I know it sounds like im being picky, but its just
that i know what i like and thats what a bands all about everyone being on the same page or aleast kind of on the
same page and then you can experiment. If anyones interested (i dont care if you've been playing a year or 5, suck
or are the greatest) e-mail me at marionimali@gmail.com. I just want to start jamming, putting ideas together, and
creating some kick ass music as soon as possible.
Bands i listen to: Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, In Flames, Shadows Fall, Slayer, Pantera, Meagdeth, Lamb
of God, Killswitch Engage,Iron Maiden, HIM, Children of Bodom, Bullet for my Valentine, Slipknot, AC/DC,
Alexisonfire, Anthrax, Arch Enemy, Billy Idol, Blink 182, Boxcarracer, The Darkness, DropKick Murphy's, Funeral for
a Friend, G N' R, Hawthorne Heights, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Rise Against, Silverstein, Skid Row, Strike Anywhere,
Story of the Year, Stutterfly, System of a Down, Tool, The Who (as you can see a wide variety)
