what doesn't make sense about it? for a small indie band, downloading isn't a killer, it's an assitant a lot of the time.

it doesnt make sense, because its still take a hell of alot of potential money away from the band...that is why.

yes for a small indie band. but for a small indie label who put out the cd not very long ago it doesn't make sense. i could see some songs. but not the entire cd. its just a loss of sales.

i have to disagree with that. any exposure is good exposure. at least thats how i feel.

not necessarily...thats a misconception if you ask me. killing someone wouldnt be good exposure. in that sentence you mean good exposure as in a way of bringing in money..but if it doesnt..its not good exposure.

ok maybe killing someone wouldn't be good exposure. but that isn't music business. say your band plays a show but you barely sell any merch. the reason why you didn't sell any merch was because the fans didn't have enough money. but they buy merch from you later on when they're home and have more money. if you never played the show, they would've never saw you and bought merch.

this band is the nicest bunch of people around. perhaps they just really love everyone and want everyone to hear their music. its about the music for them not the money? that might be some part of it... but maybe they are gearing up for a new record?

i'm not saying its not smart on the band's part. i'm talking about no milk records losing money because of it. i just think its strange.

Too true, without the internet the Arctic Monkeys would no where be where they are now in the UK (A number one single, and sure to be number 1 album) without people downloading one of their previous LPs. This is the main argument people have FOR downloading music.

Yeah, I mean they are from NJ and I hadn't heard of them really. I love this album though, I'm really glad I got a chance to find it and listen to it the whole way through. Darren's review was dead on.

I'll probably buy this in the next few weeks, even though I dl'ed it just tonight, def worth supporting smaller bands that make good pop-punk.
this is great. ill surely download it.

i heard the band paid for the whole cd themselves though.

Def. a good call on their part IMO. this is my first time checking them out, and I'm liking what I hear. Now I will make sure to check out their show if they ever come around here and I'll certainly get their next album. Good stuff..
