I'm the kid who never settled,
Always different to the rest,
The one who never fitted in,
The one you had to test.
Growing up in a war zone,
Has it's good points and it's bad,
Positives being you never run out of ammo,
The bad points being it's sad.
You can never learn to feel again,
After your heart becomes numb,
You can only stand back and watch now,
It's to late to be undone.
Insults are the same in every city,
All cruel and inhumane,
I was the kid that was gone in two weeks,
The one that had no name.
The one you all threw dirt at,
Cos I had a different voice,
In places I made a go off,
Because I never had a choice.
Situations I can't remember,
In places I forgot,
Memories I might of misplaced,
Or never really got.
See I want my own fairytale,
My actual happy ending,
But what's the point in trying,
When there's nothing inside worth mending?
One day Prince Charming will find me,
And it will be okay,
But for now I am happy,
