This is your last warning...
Our time has come
We're going straight until morning
Just put up a soundtrack and we'll keep singing
Out loud
We're going straight until morning

I really do like this idea. And if you decided to go through with it, I'd read it.

Agreed, when I saw that posted about Full Collapse, I though it was awesome that the album was a concept album that I hadn't thought of.

This looks really cool
You've already done some of these, Anton.

Another thing, though: You have to be really careful with an album as beloved as Full Collapse. It's a great idea and all, but there's going to be some people who protest against it.

I have used the song titles as the foundations for other short stories, not one cohesive story about the entire thing. What can I say? I love this album.

haha, are you serious? Why shouldn't you though? One of the greatest albums from the greatest band of all time. (Thrice = Thursday)

I'm gonna email Geoff and see what he says. I'm also changing this to a trilogy with the three albums Waiting, Full Collapse, and War All the Time.

I'm reserving my place for a comment when it's done.

This whole thing is an awesome idea. Only I'd hold out on the trilogy idea for now, take out Waiting, and add in the new album when it comes out.

Waiting works perfectly for what I have going so far. All of the song titles fit in perfectly, as the world is fragile and "Porcelain"-like. "Ian Curtis" was the toughest chapter to do but I already nailed it pretty well as I am using Ian Curtis's line "Love has torn us apart" as special for the protagonist of the story and there's a bunch of symbolic and thematic elements going into it. "Where the Circle Ends" is probably my favorite chapter though because it is told the same way the first chapter is told and ends the first story full circle. Then it moves on to the Full Collapse of the world. Oh yes, I am very excited.
If I wait for "A City by the Light Divided," it can fundamentally change everything about this story. When it comes out though, maybe I can turn it into a quadrilogy. I mean, so far, all we know are the titles "A City by the Light Divided" and "At This Velocity" I think, right? Those will work perfectly. Maybe others were given but I want to wait until the album is concrete and coming out before I start considering it.

Now I have everything ready. It will be a quadrilogy, I'm just awaiting a reply from Geoff to make sure everything's cool.

Uh...
1. What makes you think he'll reply, definately?
2. Are you done it all?
3. You aren't really ripping off Full Collapse at all as far as I can tell, only writing stories off of song titles... I dunno, I guess you still need permission but if you can't do it that's gay. Then again: FC is owned by Victory at the moment, isn't it?

1. Not sure. I will contact their manager if I hear nothing back but from all experience of emailing band members, they've always responded personally. Who knows, maybe Thursday got really big and are giant assholes now.
2. I have not finished anything yet but the entire outline to it is complete. I originally had most of the chapters done when I was doing just Full Collapse but I decided to make it work with every album so I had to scrap most of it.
3. Technically I don't need permission but I would sleep better at night with it, knowing that one of my favorite artists doesn't hate me.

I'm really sad that the production on ACBLD is so poo. It's a really great album, but the production makes it almost unlistenable...

It's still one of the better cds to come out this year.

Production is the least of my problems with that record.
