remember how everyone used to bitch so much about how much 'pop' sucked and how bands that went on trl were 'sellouts'? i heard limp bizkit's 'rollin' the other day and i realized that shit is every bit (if not more) written to be a hit 'pop' single than any nsync song, who fred durst shit talks onstage regularly. go the audition! take back the radio/tv.

I never heard these guys. And they're on TRL?

Actually, I bought this CD this weekend, and am surprised by how SOLID it is...nothing going to change the world, but a cool disc to pop in. Anyone seen em live? I might go see em with Mae and Lovedrug.

No, silly. Bands beg for stuff like that all the time.

This winter Victory is going to have a TRL takeover with Atreyu and Hawthrone Heights, and they claim that "pop" music is dead.

This is nuts. I remember seein' these guys at Wheatland Salem Church across the street from my house, 50 people in the audience.

Haha. Well, the old Audition. They have a completely different lineup now.

I saw them live with June, The Junior Varsity, and Mewithoutyou at The Metro in Chicago. It was an all around great show and all the bands there did an amazing job. The place was packed with screaming and dancing fans. No fights! And theAUDITION's singer does some sweet dance moves and has an angel voice

Only they did absolutely no begging for this. The Audition has an amazing live show. I've seen them numerous times in the past 2 months. They are one of my favorite bands to see live. A ton of energy. Amazing stage presence. I would definitely recommend checking out a show.

I'll put it this way: if you'd never heard this band before seeing them live, they wouldn't do anything to compel you to check them out. That's my opinion at least.

Haha, exactly.

I'd assume they're all between 19 and 25. That's my guess from just seeing them live. That seems to be the popular age bracket of bands in their genre.

I agree that their live show will convince people more than their recordings. They really impressed me. And damn, their music is catchy. "You've Made Us Conscious" has been in my head for months.

I like this band, put them on T.V. If they can generate this many comments, we might as well leave the final decision to pre-teen white girls. After all, pre-teen white girls have more control of our society than congress does.

I've seen them twice, and it'll be 4 times as of Feb after I see them with Lorene Drive and Stiletto then with Mae and Lovedrug. I don't want them on MTV though. Another Fall Out Boy catastrophe.

They are fucking amazing and deserve this more than anybody else. I don't understand why everyone is having this gigantic problem with supporting their band with their DREAM.

I love theAUDITION, but I'd rather see some other bands from "the scene" on TRL than them. They haven't worked hard enough yet for that level of fame. Isn't there normally an unspoken rule about having a 2 CD minimum to be on MTV?

I'm going to see those boys tonight.
They put on a great live show, danny's dance moves are killer hah
I probably wouldnt have bought their albm if i hadnt seen them live with I Am The Avalanche awhile back.

Maybe so, but somebody who has no connection to the guys whatsoever made the decision to play them. If they weren't trying to get people to vote for the video, I'd probably be on the phone yelling at them.

The guys are between 19-21. Tim, Danny, and Seth are 19. Ryan's 20, I believe. Joe is 21.
