The first band that I will be interviewing from Taste Of Chaos (http://www.tasteofchaos.com) this year is Story Of The Year (http://www.maverick.com/storyoftheyear/site/). Leave any questions that you have for them in the replies and I will do my best to get them all answered.

could you ask SOTY how they were discovered, or how they got signed? they were Big Blue Monkey for a long time, so I'm curious as to why it took so long. thanks

What's the best band name you've ever heard of? (besides your own...lol.)

What's currently playing in your ipod/cd/mp3 etc player?

When your band sets out in making a new record is there a 4 x 4 bathroom you stay in or do you break a bit with the direction your going in your songs?

As a band what are your pet peeves?

What's the worst/awesome thing that has happened while on tour?

What band or bands would you like to tour with in the future?

Do you guys have Nicknames for each other?

"In the Wake of Determination"- what are we in store for!?

What holds for Story of The Year. Tours Albums......any Collaborations?

We are are hell I'am excited for you guys this year is gonna be punched hard with so many new releases and new bands I can't count on my finger.

They threw a promo video on Goldfinger's bus, and John Feldman dug it and gave 'em a shot...He's the A&R guy for Maverick I believe and the rest is history

FIJI came about when they met this big black dude in Hawaii while recording "Page Avenue". He's on the movie: "Blue Crush" I believe. He's amazing and did the track in ONE TAKE.

Not to stir up shit, but was there a falling out between you and John Feldman? He discovered you guys and produced Page Avenue, but your recent article in Alternative Press suggests that you didn't want him to have anything to do with In the Wake of Determination because, as you stated in the article, "all his albums sound the same." That comment seems a bit harsh and somewhat of a diss to other bands he's worked with, namely The Used.

in story of the years defense, they are right. but out of all of feldman's albums, i'd have to say the used's self titled sounds the most unique.
