Personally I think the guy should be hung, but lethal injection works as well. Unfortunentaly some defense attourney brought up the race of the jury and now he's still alive.

I personally think its quite stupid to execute criminals. It just lets them leave their problems behind. Its better to leave them in a prison and let them rot there, thinking about what they have done.

Most of these guys arent wired like you and I. They wont sit and think of their mistakes. This guy killed some 16 year old for "the hell of it". I doubt he will think about his mistakes. This lethal injection is too pussy for me. I wish we could dust of the old noose or firing squad, but thats today's world. A work camp in the depths of Alaska, work 18 hours a day, sleep the rest, two meals a day, and thats it, that would be good. No TV, no gym, no library, just two hots and a cot. That would be a good punishment.

It gives closure to the family of the victims. They now no justice is served. Im all for it. The Alaska camp sounds better though.

Why give a crazed criminal life? So he/she can sit in there cell, learn a trade, have physciatric help, have constant food and watch The Simpsons (Tim McVay) everyday? The victim is dead. they cant sit, learn, and eat like the evil criminal who murdered them "for the hell of it".
If they kill, they deserve to die. Those murders will never be rehibilitated no matter what all our liberal politicians believe.
And who fucking cares about "no cruel and unusual punishment"? Was the victim cruely and unusually killed, for no reason? Yes.
Either way, the criminal will die . Whether it is being injected, costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, or a bullet to the head, costing around 4 dollars, they are gonna die.

When the victim was murderd, it put the familly through much grief. When the criminal is executed, it puts thier familly through much grief. Execution dosn't just punish the criminal. It punishes their family too. Thats why I can't support it.

Mainly mental illness such as depression is just a sarcastic state of mind. But I do believe that some people are wired wrong. Much of that is caused by their parents. Years of mistreatment causes mental problems, hence the problem. So yeah, mental illness could cause this, but mental illness could be caused by parents, also bad morals.

bad morals do not cause mental illness, never claimed they did. it just means that they usually dont have a regard for the law. all of your facts are true, i agree with you. it is still the parents fault (most of the time) for raising their kids a wrong way. columbine. those parents of the shooters probably let their kids talk back to them, they never disciplined them except for time outs and fucked their kids up by not showing them that life is tough, and not alway your way. so some kids make fun of you at school. whoopie, dont go shoot them up. their parents should have been held responsible for their childrens actions.
