Ozma Returns

Ozma (http://www.myspace.com/ozma) has re-united. Below is a statement from the band:
WE: Star Wick, Ryen Slegr, Jose Galvez, and Daniel Brummel, do hereby declare our full and true intention to reform, reunite, and otherwise reanimate the rock group OZMA. Manning the drum kit for this incarnation of OZMA will be Kenn Shane, formerly of Addison. After rehearsing and working on new material since September 2005, we will play our first reunited concert on Sunday, March 12th 2006 at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood, CA. Tickets to this concert will be made available on January 14th, 2006. Announcements regarding future OZMA releases and tours will henceforth be made at our official website OzmaOnline.com.

My buddy was telling me about this a few weeks ago and said that they did a secret show under another name opening for another band. I am so excited! Sometimes bands just need a break to realize what is important. It sucks that Pat isn't on drums anymore though.

Brummel wasn't their bassist.
He was for the recording of the album, but he isn't listed as being in the band anymore. He hasn't been for some time, actually.

I reported this news..I was afraid it would go unnoticed.

Hellogoodbye REALLY loves Ozma. They have allusions to Ozma songs in their songs (All Time Lows is one they still play that does this) and credit Ozma as the reason they are a band today.

Ozma kicks serious amounts of ass.
And I am glad they are back.
I knew about this beforehand, as my friend regularly chats with Brummel on AIM. (He talks to alot of people on AIM if you IM him, and is very forthcoming apparently)

Ozma did a faux reunion show under the name Irregardless on Dec 3 in California.
This time it is official.

Pat has a new band now...he was kind of weird anyway. I met the band minus Brummel on their last tour.
Star was kind of a stuck-up princess, Slegr was kind of a dick, Jose was kind of a man-whore, and Pat was kind of a shyawkwardman.
I still love them whatever.
