Alright, so how many of you guys could actually say that if you saw a hot girl in person you'd go up to her,talk to her and tell her that you thought she was hot? Most of the guys I know here at my new school are scared to talk to girls, I don't get it...So guys, if you are one of them who are scared, tell me why because I'm really trying to figure out what the hell goes through your heads...

well i look for intelligence, some physical attraction has to be present as well but im not picky. as far as approaching.....it all depends on the girl....the vibes i would get.

I thought we were talking about money? smart kids can have money. Usually smart kids are so into their studies they don't have the thoughts of a gf/bf and stuff...I know some smart people who have bf/gfs though.

Usually if its outside of school, I'll just make an ass out of myself for fun, but in school I'll talk to them. I dunno what goes through my mind, I dont really think about stuff, I just go for it, on instincts usually. Gets me in trouble sometimes tho... :eek:

I (not that you all care) usually just get their sn from a friend and IM them, and then kinda ease into a friendship and make my move from there, it's kind of a pussy-ass thing to do when you think about it, because you avoid face time but it works. If the girls just random and hot, and I get the urge to talk to her, I'll do it. The worst I ever did was at Winn Dixie's I opened with "so, buying groceries?" but then I helped carry her groceries to her car and got her number, besides if you're probably not gonna see her again. What the hell, nothing to lose...

thats not too much of a pussy type thing to do. i've done the IM SN thing. and you're right about how it eases you into the friendship. and i know what you mean about going up to hot girls you're probably never gonna meet again and make an ass out of yourself. once my friends and i were at the mall and we saw this hot chick walk by. my one friend was like "damn man she's hot" i told him to go talk to her. he of course said no. so i ran up to her and told her my friend wanted to talk to her. so i brought her to my group of friends and spent the rest of the night hanging out. okay well bad example about making ass out of yourself but if it was a girl from my school i would have never gone up to her.

worst case scenario-you walk up to her she's not interested: she could pretend to be interested and play along,she could laugh (rare occasions)or she could just walk away..big deal! you'll get over it.
best case scenario-you can meet one of the best girls, you guys can go out or become real good friends.
I think guys just have to take risks and chances instead of having all of these bad doubts in their heads.

yeah, I'm all scared of hott girls and stuff. its hard for me to vocalize how i feel about them and stuff. there are many times where me and my friends hang out at a show, the mall, or someother place like Starbucks or something and they'll keep on pushing me to go for it. Personally, I'm afraid of rejection, it sucks everytime it happens. But i think I'm slowly getting better at talking to girls, my friends have to set it up, but i can try to talk to them... eh, i'll get better at it hopefully!
haha, a funny story about the last show i went to (ive only been to 2). but we were waiting to get in the the New Found Glory show and there was this girl i thought was cute. So everyone was pushing me to talk to her. So they made me practice what i was going to say to my buddy...haha, my buddy rejected me so i guess i wouldnt of had great success with the girl..haha

I used to be REALLY shy, like i wouldnt barely go up and talk to the girls ever. You just have to try going up to girls over and over, it becomes easier every time. Being rejected never happens as often as u assume it will.

Meh, I hear that a lot from girls, but no girl has ever done it that I know of. I guess it sorta became the sole responsibility of guys to make the first move. I think I would respect a girl who would do that.

Some girls do and some don't, they think that it's the guys resposibility. I actually do go up to guys but it'd be nice if guys came and made the first move more.
