The Hush Sound (www.purevolume.com/thehushsound) are currently writing for their yet-to-be-titled new album, which they will be recording from February 6th - March 11th. The guys (and girl) currrently have seven songs knocked out and a slew of ideas. As previously reported, The Hush Sound will be opening the first half of the Fall Out Boy / Hawthorne Heights spring arena tour.

It's just some weird paranoia. Haha.

I loved So Sudden. I hope it's not too huge of a departure in the wrong direction.

Plus, I don't really know how Patrick's musical taste would factor in considering he's probably just trying to get them to sell well.

I love that album and this band as well. I don't picture Patrick producing an album just so it has a sound that will sell well. Like, I picture him more so producing a band and an album that he really believes in. I see him more so helping craft and mold those songs so they're better musically than just as a selling product. Make sense?

I'm not worried about Patrick doing anything to change their music. I'm so excited for this. I wish they were doing my half of the fob tour.

totally agree, i'm not worried that they'll make shit with them, i'm only wondering if he will sing on some song or something

I've been kind of skeptical about how Patrick is reforming them, but I have faith that the album will be awesome. It's going to be a very sad day when I can't see The Hush in little venues anymore, but I'm glad I got to see them like 20 times. I've heard one new song a bunch of times, "Don't Wake Me Up" which is very awesome. (You can hear a clip on their streat team site.) Patrick sang the chorus at that secret show. It was pretty sweet. I can't wait for a new CD.

so maybe he'll sing on album too :-) anyway i wouldn't expect them to get thaaat huge, i can see them playing some huge shows, but they won't be on trl :-P can't wait for this album
