having stuff in common, treats me with respect, sense of humor, and i guess looks matter some, but its not at the top of my list, though the way to get interested in someone usually starts with looks and how you see them.

Honestly, looks do matter. That's not to say that I would be looking for someone insanely handsome, but in some way or another I should be physically attracted to that person.
I look for a good personality, someone that can make me laugh. I don't know what specifically it would be. Just someone that's fun to hang around with and easy to talk to.

Someone who I can have conversations with, who isn't really concerned with how everyone else views him, who is willing to dance with me and hang out at random times. oh wow.... that question is so generic it isn't even funny. depends on what type of girl you are looking for.... what she is looking for....
but i shall put my two cents in anyways... you can't JUST have a sense of humor... plus whoever said 'compatible sense of humor' yeah that is what it's all about.... combo of good looks (to the girl at least, all of her friends could think that you're hot and she thinks ahem.... otherwise) don't ever lie to a girl you like/are with, she will find a way to get the truth. to tell you the truth girls look for attention.... whoever gives them the most without being creepy usually wins.

the compatible sense of humor thing is right on. my thing is a guy with a quick wit. thats the type of humor that i enjoy. that isnt the case with everyone. another huge thing is confidence. ghostyouare, you hit it right on the head, so to speak. im not saying be a cocky fuck, heh, but you need to be sure about yourself before a girl will be sure about you. trust me on this one. we have xray vision for that shit.

I stopped caring about women. You guys just need to realize, like me, that you're not that great. Nothing special. I mean, if a girl likes me I'll pursue her, but I'm not into going after girls at this point. Too much effort to find out I'm very annoyed by her. Because 99% of girls do annoy me a lot.
