I gotta say, I'm not a big fan of Irvin as an analyst, but he brough the argument on Quite Frankly. He pretty much owned Keyshawn Johnson with the whole controversy on whether he is a 1 or 2 reciever and a "go-to guy". I'll paraphrase what he said.

4th and 2 with the game on the line, they throw someone else the ball. 4th and 3 with a few minutes left, they throw the ball the other way. Forget what I'm saying...your team is telling you you aren't the #1 guy. Ask your coaches and Quarterback why the ball isn't coming to you. I mean, if I'm on that team, and the ball goes the other way...there's gonna be another arrest...you're gonna hear about it from me, because I [was] the go to guy...

Also, he went further by saying that if Keyshawn was the breakout wide-reciever he though he was, why didn't the Cowboys make the playoffs...I'll paraphrase again, this is after Steven had mentioned the Cowboy's D being undersized and Julias Jones being hurt as main reasons:

Yeah, those things are there...but they lost most of their games by what, 6,7 points. If I'm on that field, we win those games. I mean, are you telling me I'm not good for a touchdown, I got three Super Bowl rings back home that say I am

So, while I dislike his analysis, he knows how to bring the heat if he has too. He also had some good stuff on TO, his not getting the Hall of Fame, and his last controversy a few weeks back.

i was a big irvin fan when he was a cowboy.

then he lost me with all his trouble.

then i was so proud of him to come back and make right again.

now, i'm a huge fan of him as an analyst. he brings passion and personality to analysis, and i dig that.

hm, compelling argument from irvin.

I don't like his analysis most of the time either. And he still should have been fired for his latest arrest anyways.

but compelling (and accurate) argument.
