not looking good for usc next year

they'll still only lose 2-3 games next year. It'll be a "step back" i suppose, but they're not going to be shitty.

agreed. they're probably one of the best teams in the country with lendale though ..now they have a hard time cracking the top 10. they can still win the pac-10 though, and probably will.

he will be a good pickup for some nfl team

I agree.
But, I wouldn't be worried if I'm a USC fan. just because the replacements will be inexperienced doesn't mean they aren't good.
Wasn't there buzz after Carson Palmer left about whether or not this Matt Leinart bum could handle it? They'll be fine with john david booty i think it is. They just won't be undefeated.

i'd love it if he somehow lasted until the patriots picked. not likely though.

my guess is late teen's early twenties in the draft.

booty to jarrett will be one of the best qb-wr combos in football next year. Jarrett reminds me a lot of Plaxico Burress ..he's got the ability and size to dominate.

and the ability to be a mild headcase and dissappear in big games?

haha ..haven't see any of that yet from jarrett. i'm in awe of plaxico sometimes though ...i think he has as much talent as any WR in the league (he's just got randy moss syndrome once in a while).

Oh most definitely. It's just he tends to dissappear and drop catches at the most inopportune times.

Darrel Bing will be the RB. I read a report saying that he practiced at it one day and ripped up the defense.
Anyone who drafts him will be a lucky lucky team. I really hope the Jets trade their pick for more picks and somehow manage to pick him up.

the packers are obsessed with him.
they actually mentioned him and the fifth pick in the same breath. that seems a bit high, but if they want him, what the hell?

i think the packers have much greater needs on defense. gado is a decent enough option at rb, assuming they dont bring back green or davenport.

is davenport going to miss next season or are they getting rid of him? I don't understand that. i though davenport would be a nice starting RB for them. they do need more defensive playmakers. AJ Hawk makes sense, not so sure about white going to them (though, he is worth a top 5 pick i think...)

i believe davenport may be a FA. Don't hold me to that though. I agree about Hawk too.

"A Packers source told The Post that the club is already enamored with USC running back LenDale White and that he would certainly not make it past Green Bay, which has the fifth pick in the upcoming draft."

wow.
I still think AJ Hawk is the player they need more than white.

The only game they're losing next year is against Notre Dame.
bank that.
USC is filled with back ups that could be starting for a zillion other schools

i completely agree.
but, i think white will be a great pro, so i don't think ya can go wrong with him either.
just funny how last year's draft sucked. and this one is overloaded with talent. seems like any of the top 10 could have been number one last year.

Yeah. White will be a great pro, but you can go wrong drafting someone instead of another player that fits your most immediate need, which I think Hawk does.
And about anyone would have been better than Alex Smith.

it's been said that if lendale hasnt been picked by the fifth pick, the packers will take him. i dunno if its a good move or not, we'll see after the combine.

I think they'll lose that game, too. I'm not doubting thier back ups, i mean, they've recruited great kids. but they'll be inexperienced, and in a like the Fresno State game or the Oregon game, they may not survive it in the end. I'm only thinking 2-3 losses, max. Most likely 2.

UCLA and USC both got depleted...
I hope someone picks up Drew Olson but it won't happen
