According to Taking Back Sunday (http://www.takingbacksunday.com/newalbumsite)'s most recent journal entry (http://www.takingbacksunday.com/newalbumsite/index.php?area=diary), their new album Louder Now should see a spring release.
I believe it's tentatively set for April 18th. - Jason Tate

In all seriousness, why do you think that? After listening to WYWTB for over a year now, I can still see promise for the new album. I'll admit that Error Operator didn't really impress me, but I've still got hope.

Drew Beringer has already called this his album of the year.
Without even listening to it.

I love you just based on your avatar. I'm a huge Angelina Jolie fan (have been since Hackers); however, we might have to let her go now for about nine months or so -- unless you're into that.

Haha, everyday is a victory though for Team Pitt. But in terms of Jolie vs Aniston, Jolie has brought the pwn.

Im remaining optimistic with TBS, and I can't wait to hear it. But why does Adam love the 10 or 11 songs thing? Come off it, Adam.

There will never be another TAYF, it sucks that TBS lost John and Shaun, but that's life. I still think WYWTB is a solid record, and that this new one is going to blow it out of the water.
I'm excited...it feels like I have been waiting for this new record forever...

Quick question, what label is TBS exactly on? I know they are on Warner bros., but are they on Reprise? I can't remember.

Well the kicker for me was their last tour with Jimmy Eat World. I understand they have new members (they're awesome guys, don't get me wrong), but I just felt like they didn't give a shit about any of their old songs or the people who liked them. TBS shouldn't be playing "cute without the e" halfway through their set. I'm sorry, but that's just insulting. I totally understand not wanting to close with it every single time, but at least play it near the end or somewhere where it means something. I just felt like they tagged it on just because they needed another song to play.
What I'm getting at is that I feel like they've totally turned their back on their old sound and old fans. By no means do I consider myself an "old" fan, but hell.... am I so wrong for wanting them to at least respect their old stuff? WYWTB had its fair share of high points, but the two new songs I've heard just took the things they did wrong on their last album and furthered it. I've officially given up on this band.

At least they play the old stuff. Either it's someone bitching that they shouldn't play their old stuff at all or that they don't play it in the right order or that they don't play their old stuff enough (A.K.A. Finch) but who gives a s**t. At least they played the song, damn. Be happy or shut up and don't go see 'em.
