I just got home from a free Ataris show at the Tower Records in the Village and WOW. It was like seeing them in a major venue, with all the people and stuff. They played alot of their old favorites and did a few new ones too (Kris played My Reply alone, I didn't even know it was written for a girl who had cancer).

While the crowd was small, it was really into it and it was a great time to be had by all. Afterwards they signed copies of SLA and whatnot. I got some great pix (especially of Kris crowd surfing).

For an in store show, thay also had some great acoustics, the sound rocked and was near perfect.

Yeah, My Reply was pretty well done. It wouldve been better if they turned their distortion off, but who cares, rock on. I was surprised they started with IOU, that got me going.
