tight performance, but the songs are just flat out bad. i'll stick with my neverenderkthxbye.
i'd give my left nut to hear wake up.

Coheed & Cambria pulls no punches when playing acoustic. They're as good as performers get. Anyone who went to one of the "Evening With" shows can attest to that.

Right, because bands shouldn't be allowed to evolve and experiment.
Not to mention... How can you possibly insult "Welcome Home"? Arguably one of the greatest songs of '05.

it's so cool to only like a band's first album, you know, before they "sold out." come on man, don't try to hard to be cool. coheed has gotten better with each release. Good Apollo... is amazing, top to bottom.

you've GOT to be kidding me.
coheed changed their sound and i don't like it. the second stage turbine blade is still my 3rd favorite album ever, and i still listen to it at least 3 times a week for more than around 2 years. good apollo...is a fucking snoozefest. its a totally different style, with bad vocal effects IMO, long songs, and annoying guitar riffs. now compared to time consumer, or an epic masterpiece like godsend conspirator, these suck balls in my opinion.

i fucking love welcome home. i hate every other song on the album. wow, they all suck compared to the home.
and you know, i shouldn't be allowed to dislike the experiments.

i just don't see how you can say that. do you want them to keep the same sound in every album? should they not be allowed to grow as a band? "annoying guitar riffs?" what? to me, each album is better than the last. and also, they are amazing live, one of the best shows i saw last year.

second stage turbine blad is the worst album, the musicianship just isnt as good, alot of it is a bit generic and it is in no way a classic... sorry lightcollapse

yeah coheed has definately got better with each album, i popped in 2nd stage the other day and was like wow this is good, but it sounds so plain compared to the new stuff. on a personal note, my favorite album has to be in keeping secrets..., but the new record is still great.

1) Amplifried - thanks for the links to the YSIs...good shit.
2) lightcollapse - You say one of the reasons you don't like Good Apollo... in comparison to Second Stage is because of song length? 6 songs on Good Apollo are under four minutes. 8 if you count the two intro tracks. Second stage has one track under four minutes. Two if you count the intro track. vbmenu_register("postmenu_2378782", true);
What's with the hate on Canada lately? There's no reason we shouldn't be able to watch this.
